A run group built on good shoes, good beer, and good company — since 2019.
Fresno Beer Runners started back in 2019: a few friends who wanted to run, then drink a beer together. No pace requirements. No membership dues. Just two weekly runs — Saturdays from MOTO, Tuesdays rotating through the Tower District and Downtown — and whatever bar, brewery, or coffee shop felt right that week.
That's still what we are. Every Saturday at 9 AM we meet at MOTO Delicatessen (1916 N Echo Ave). Every Tuesday at 6 PM we meet somewhere in the Tower District or Downtown. We lace up, knock out a few miles, and finish somewhere local. Sometimes it's a brewery. Sometimes it's a coffee shop. Sometimes it's a taco joint. The goal isn't the miles — it's the people you meet along them.
You. All ages are welcome to run with us — if you can put one foot in front of the other, you belong here. We've had marathoners and first-timers, people chasing PRs and people chasing the next round. Everyone starts together, everyone finishes together, and nobody gets dropped.
Absolutely — dogs are welcome on the run. The only catch is that some of the venues we end at can't have dogs inside, so depending on the week you might need to hang out on the patio. We try to pick dog-friendly spots whenever we can.
It's entirely optional. All ages are welcome on the run itself; drinking is for the 21+ crowd after. We end at local spots — breweries, bars, coffee shops, taco places — because Fresno has great ones, and because hanging out after a run is the whole point. Want a water? Get a water. Want to skip the hangout entirely? Totally fine.
